My friend send me a movie in bin formate. I have tried to mount the file and burn the many different way I search for in this forum and still can;t mount the file. The file is 4.85GB when I try toast 6 it say that its not a vaild bin cue file. I've change the file from bin to dmg it mounts but the folder is empty. I know the file is to big to burn. I want to mount it and watch it without burning it. Can someone help

To play the movie, opening it with MPlayer OS X usually works on bin files.
To burn the bin/cue file you could try FireStarter FX

I free'd my mind... now it won't come back.

The player worked. the only thing is the file is a dvd image so I can't choose anything from the menu. Also I can't fast froward. Is there a way to play this file on the macs dvd player I tried. Also I tried FireStarter and it won't burn it gives me an error. I think The file is too big. I wish I can exract the file somehow.

No, the Mac's DVD player will not work with nonstandard dvd images.

I have tried firestarter and is says that it is an illegal token. VCDGear doesn't work. I get back error. I can only watch the movie in MPlayer but the player sucks. I would like to use the menu in the movie. Anyone else can help. I hate bin cue files

I would suggest burning it with Nero on a PC. Toast will burn bin/cue files, but it can't overburn as most PC software can. Overburning is not a good idea for data integrity, but sometimes you need it when you find images such as the one you have.

I am saying the obvious, ¿am I worth of insults just because I suggest the (what used to be) normal way of doing things?
