HELP iChat won't launch!!!

ok my system restarted, and now iChat won't launch it bounces then quits. I have deleted the preferences, but still no go.

How have you fixed this problem?

how many questions/problems regarding *applications* does tooki have to lock before people finally get the idea that they belong in the proper forum?

Fixing permissions (from boot drive) didn't work. I also ran Fsck from t single user mode. Any other suggestions?

Have you disabled any fonts lately? Some apps will go nuts without some fonts- Terminal expects Monaco to be there, and you can keep iTunes, Address Book and DVD Studio Pro from launching if Helvetica or Helvetica Nue are gone.
OS X: Where software installation doesn't require wizards with shields.

Nope haven't done anything of that sorts. I only ran my Mac for 13 days, then rebooted. I need iChat running ASAP as I do meetings via video chat. I killed all the preferences, and the menuling works, but when I click a name etc, bang it won't launch.
