Hello,

Every time I select to "Send Selection" via the Services menu - if I don't have Mail open - the system starts opening Classic. I would rather it didn't - I prefer Mail to open - and am writing hoping someone can tell me how to change whatever pref it is that does this.

Any info appreciated. Thanks,
Kent M

What classic application is it trying to launch (after classic finishes launching)?

Sounds really weird... no classic application should be capable of providing services. And I don't think Carbon applications can be services compliant yet either.

... it tries to start "Mail" but as an os9 app. I ge the ugly little os9 icon and an error message about a "helper Application" not being found.

Same thing every time.
