Hi
I switched from windows a few months ago, and ever since I've noticed that mac os x doesn't have the "print selected" option. In safari, sometimes I just want to print a little bit of a page, not all of it, and what I do is copy and paste it into MS Word or something and then print it that way. Is there some way to make a "print selected" option in osx?
Thanks
Brandon

There is not a direct method, but I use this one:
1. Application Menu
2. Services
3. TextEdit
4. Paste selection in a new window
5. Print

Which of course is a pain in the butt. Print selection is something that we could all use, especially in printing sections of emails. Entourage does have this feature and is one of the reasons for using it as a primary mail program, except for the fact that it doesn't utilize menu services. Give a little, take a little I guess. While Apple likes to tinker with GUI features, they could add a few program features like print selection and make our work flow a bit easier.

I submitted feedback to apple about it. Hopefully they'll take it into consideration. Anyone else who would like this feature please submit this for feature, and then they might acutally do it!
Thanks

That is not an OS feature (nor could it be easily made into one), it's an application feature. As such, the Mac OS X forum is the wrong place for this thread.
