How to lock a partition?

So i decided to create a 2 partition disk, the first one with X and the 2 nd (smallest) with Classic.
Besides Classic, my 2 nd partition also have some personal docs, which i'd like to hide from other users.
I know both partitions will mount on desktop at startup, so any user has access to them.
Question is: can i lock a partition? I'm thinking about something like locked folders, which can only be accessed via password.
But, the locked partition still has to be bootable, so i can boot from it when i need OS9 (still playing some old games, here...).
Can this be done?

Just a suggestion to think about instead of locking a partition...have you thought about moving your "personal" documents into your OS X user folder and then creating multiple users on the machine? Then you can use "Fast User Switching" to go back and forth and the other users couldn't touch your stuff inside your user folder.

Would that work for you?

I have porn that I don't want my wife to see, so I did this:

Inside of my Movies folder, I have a folder named .Porn, which makes to invisible to an unhacked Finder. To play those movies, I can go to that directory via the Terminal and type:

open stacy-01.mpg

and it will open in VLC (I have associated mpeg files with VLC). I could also create playlists in VLC and skip the Terminal entirely.

If you can't tell, I am a big VLC fan. I also use it to play my MP3 files.

You could easily just mark the folder, or files so that only you have permission to view them and all others have no access. An easier approach is to be honest with your wife and let her know you like to look at stacy, err.... porn.
