I am new to these forums but am a long time Mac user. The question I have is this. When I open web pages in Safari, sometimes lines that are supposed to be text show up as overlapping numbers that almost resemble Asian characters. This same problem happens often in Mail as well.Has anyone else seen this? If so is there a simple fix? Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry BP, I haven't seen such an issue. I cannot think of a time during which I ever experienced such a phenomenon. Why don't you take a screen shot of the window using command+shift+4 (Apple/clover key) and use http://www.imageshack.us/ to host it. Then post it here using the [img] tags and we'll see if we recognize it. Off hand though, I suggest an Archive and Install using the system CDs that came with your Mac.
