Ok, the problem is that, i know a kid, who i think has a few pictures (pictures i dont want anyone eslse seeing) of my girlfriend, but im not sure if he has them, but he is hinting that he does. Anyway, we dont live in the same place, so we are not connected to our computers in any way. I need a way to find out if he has the pictures or not, he uses windows xp home edition, and i use panther , and have a g5 1.8ghz dual with 512 ram. I do no believe he has any firewall, but he has a spybot search and destroy. I need to find a way to see what he has on his computer, useing spiware or something of the kind, or anything else, but using a mac to do this. please help.. thanks.

Hate to break this to you, but hacking someone else's computer, while fun, is very illegal, no matter if it is for such a...noble...cause as this one. Anyway, in order for message boards to stay on the net they can't support illegal actions, so likewise, none of us can give you any help with hacking into his computer. Might I suggest social engineering instead? Or perhaps you shouldn't be so loose with naked pics of your girlfriend in the future? Eh...my two cents. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but them's the rules.

not to mention that the kid is only 16 which means his girlfriend is probably about the same....i don't think anyone here wants to get involved in anything to do with underage photos...

Heh...hadn't realized it before now, but this is also the kid that posted the topic asking about how he could cover up his tracks after browsing some 18+ sites. Just dandy...

Heh

If is files were named more or less uniquely then he could do a google search on: http://images.google.com/ for those files... to see if his friend (or someone else) has distributed them already. I get 42,600+ hits for keyword 'girlfriend' :-P

The problem with Google is that, as far as I can recall, their database has a refresh time of about 30 days, so there could be a delay of a month from the actual time of distribution to the time that Google recognizes it in a search. Of course, that's the extreme, but still, there would be a delay of a few days probably.

I would first wonder why your girlfriend posed for the pics in the first place. Then I would wonder how they got into your friends possession.

Thanks for the refresher on who this individual is goRickey. How quickly one can forget when you are old.
