While I have not (yet) experienced problems with iPhoto v4.0.2, apparently there were many who did; and so Apple pulled this release.

But no mention is made of why, what problems, or conditions prompted this action? Are there any gotchas lurking or is it safe to fuggedaboudit until 4.0.3 is released?

This is turning into almost standard procedure with iApps. 1. Release buggy update. 2. Pull update. 3. Re-release un-buggy update 2 days later.

It's pretty minor, anyway. I'm sure it'll be back soon enough.

A discussion on this is over in the Software forum; however, some are experiencing long delays when closing iPhoto v4.0.2 (up to a minute) and that could be a reason...

HUGE delay in closing the program with the new update. Not only that, but when switching through pictures the hard disk seems to be working quite a bit more than it was with the previous version. Eh, who knows.
