Hi, was wondering if anyone else has run into this Mail bug.

Mail will crash on startup if when you last had it open you quit while a window was minimized to the dock.

This seems to crash mail without fail and requiress a dozen or so attempts to get mail to stay open.

The obvious solution is to not quit mail while you have a minimized window, but I was wondering if there was a setting to close all windows in mail before quitting.

There's likely something bad in your setup -- a corrupt preferences file, a corrupt index file, or something. I don't think it's a Mail bug, and I don't think it's a common issue.

I have a coworker who minimizes *all* message that they want to follow-up on to the dock. When he opens Mail, it opens and re-minimizes them all to the dock. He has like 30 of these folders -- it's ridiculous to watch Mail open in this manner (it looks like soldiers marching or something), but it works without crashing.
