Does anyone know how to get animated gifs to play in the mail app? I want to have the classic colored apple spinning as a signiture. I know that when people send me email from a third party email (yahoo, hotmail) their email have animated gifs in them. But I tried pto attach the spinning apple and when I send it to myself its static.

First of all, that's a terrible idea, and I'm glad that's not currently possible.

Those people are sending HTML messages; Mail.app can't send HTML messages right now, but it will be able to in Tiger.

Please don't put a spinning anything in your signature. That's just tacky and annoying.
