Can anyone point me in the direction of a good OSX Panther book for a soon to be Mac Newbie based in the U.K. Are the Wiley OSX books any good? was going to buy one this morning but thought i'd post here for some views.

I HIGHLY recommend David Pogue's "OSX: The Missing Manual." I have this in three different versions, covering various releases of OSX. In fact, I didn't even upgrade to X until I'd read the book and discovered lots of things to know.

It is a hugely useful reference.

Good luck.
