Before I updated to 10.3.5 my hard drive on the desktop showed the hard drive capacity and the amount of free space. Now it only shows the hard drive capacity...did anyone else have this happen when they updated to 10.3.5 or could it be something else that I installed?

I've seen the same thing from time to time in Panther. It happens intermittently for no discernible reason and reappears as quickly as it disappears.

I've given up caring. A bug I guess.

Adam: Maybe something else?....I still see Format / Capacity / Available / Used after the update.

Todd: Select the hard drive icon, hold down the apple key and press the "i" button on your keyboard.

Apple is dying...but I <3 my Mac!

Show Item Info is not accurate for me. It only updates how much room I have left after I restart the computer.

Yes this is one of the elephants in our living room. Much like finder's god awful FTP support.
