When I upgraded both my G5 and PowerBook to 10.3.5, they suddenly lost their connections to the internet (DSL). Only when my PC at the same desk is on will they be able to connect.

In other words, three separate times I have turned my PC off (plugged into the same router) and my Macs lose their internet connection. Three separate times I turned my PC back on, and their internet connection works perfectly.

Weird. Nothing has changed except the 10.3.5 update.

download the combo updater from apple's site and run it. sometimes that helps.

make sure you repair permissions both before and after any updates or installations.

How is your network configured? This may be a silly question, but is there any chance your PC is acting as your router?
