I am getting "shared Library" errors when I try to launch Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Distiller today after running Software Update yesterday. I did repair permissions using Cocktail, but still got the errors. I also tried to reinstall Illustrator and it would not let me do this.

I am running a 1 ghz dual processor, 1.5 GB RAM. The Adobe software is installed on both of the two hard drives (separate licenses).

I didn't do a thorough test of all the other software on this machine, but Safari and Quark XPress work.

What is it about the update that could lock me out of Adobe apps? I'm running Disk Warrior right now in desperation.

Thanks in advance!

Unless something is clashing between the two drives. They're separate installations? I've used PS, ID and ImageReady all without any errors since the update.

i had to reinstall photoshop cs on 2 seperate machines after updating to 10.3.5; double-clicking a photoshop image would open the app, but...not appear.

fixed with a reinstall.

may be that some of the crap (oops! i mean files) that adobe installs in the system & root level libraries vanished (or something)

try reinstalls...
