Apple Certified Technical Coordinator...anybody got it?

Within the last 3-4 months I've prepared for and passed the OS X Panther Helpdesk Technician, Desktop and Portable technician certification exams. I found them to be moderate as far as exam difficulty based on my skill level. Now that I've passed those exams I'm contemplating going for the OS X Server Essentials v10.3 exam which would give me the Technical Coordinator cert. I printed out the skill assessment guide for this exam however and the vast majority of it looks like alien hieroglyphics
I'd be interested in finding out from those who may have taken the exam how they prepared and whether it would be advisable to do so at this point being that Tiger Server is right around the corner. I've so far found limited materials on the Apple web site (Getting Started Manual...etc) and only one book on amazon that even covers Panther Server! What is the best way to prepare for this exam where I can cover the lengthy list of items on the skill assessment guide? I used the Apple Tech Kit online self-paced study materials for the Desktop and Portable exams, but 10.3 Server is only covered in a limited context on there from what I can tell with only a few sections in the Service Training Extras section.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Will your employer pay for the Essentials course? That would be the best of course.
There is no server book available right now that can prepare you for the exam as far as I know...

I doubt it. While they paid for me to get the other certs, they haven't asked me to get this one. I'm more interested in it on a personal level really. I could bring it up to them, but I doubt they'd be willing to pay the $2000 and I'd much rather put that towards a G5...are you familiar with the Mac OS X Server 10.3 Panther : Visual QuickPro Guide book i'm referring to? And are you also familiar with the exam itself? I'm sure the class is plenty helpful, but i would imagine there'd be something else out there to help.

I'm not famalier with that QuickPro Guide...I'll look into that for sure next time I'm out. I personally haven't taken the exam myself; however, I know a few people who have.

I have an ACSA
It's pretty tough to pass the ACTC or ACSA exams without the course materials... there aren't too many sources that cover all the relevant materials (and the test questions are quite specific).
A book just shipped (today, I think) that targets the Help Desk Coordinator, but that's not gonna help you :/

I got my ACTC certification last year. The exam was tougher than anticipated. Hands on experience with setting up users, printers, win and nfs shares, etc. would be a requirement- the questions test your depth of understanding. Access to course materials was a must for me.

Why don't you just have your company spring for the http://consultants.apple.com/ network. You already have the necessary Cert to join and according to the pdf of benefits you get Mac OSX Client and Server NFRs as well as other choice software from Apple and 3rd parties.
You also get small discounts on future exams. This way you can get your hands on OSX server and possibly other apps your company might be interested in and it's only a measy $550 and not $2000 for training. Plus if you deal with the outside world your company can be promoted as a Certified Consultant and you can use the Apple logo.
I'm thinking about joining next year after getting my Help Deskt Cert. I figure the $550 cost will be made up by grabbing Tiger Server and other "perks" over the course of the annual subscription. You'll pass the test if you get adequate hands on training.

looks like you have to have become a technical coordinator to recieve the "free" copy of os x server which is kind of weird. i'd like to get a copy so i can learn it so i can then pass the test not the other way around. and then you need to belong to the "plus" level which costs $750 a year per individual. I doubt my company would go for this. they are not very interested in me furthering my mac studies. they only wanted me to get the desktop cert so they can say somebody at the company has it. they were almost willing to just say somebody here had it even if they didn't. less than 1% of our business is mac related...
anyway, suthercd, what course materials are you referring to? what is there? is something available directly through apple?
i noticed that helpdesk book at b&n the other night. i could have used that a few months ago!!! now where's a server or tech coordinator book?!
