I've bought a SE P800 phone almost a year ago and since this time I was almost happy, but anyone from SE or Apple could answer on the my question because it's bothering me.
Why noone release any drivers to support USB SEMC DSS-20 SyncStation that comes with P800 and probably with P900 and P910?
We all love music, like Steve always say, but I would be happy to transfer my mp3's to phone over USB with speed of 12Mbit/sec that use Bluetooth with maximum speed up to 29Kb/sec, here is actually comes another question to Apple, why it's so slow? Why it's not even close to 70Kb/sec that it should be?
I use my 256Mb Memory Stick Duo for music. Could you imagine to transfer this 256Mb over Bluetooth with all operations that I have to do on the phone to send each file, it takes a lot of my time, and the real question is why do I need this SEMC DSS-20 SyncStation? Why it come with SE P800 if I use Mac????? Should I switch to PC???

P.S. Don't tell me to buy iPod, because I had one and never heard a phone ring in the iPod headsets, that is why P800 better for me that any iPod.
Also don't even tell me to buy PCMCIA or any USB card reader. I want to understand why I should buy this thing if I already have the thing that should work!!!

The DSS-20 is actually a serial device with a USB interface. That makes it really slow, even in Windows. Your best bet really is a card reader. Seriously, there's no faster way to move large stuff between your computer (Mac or Windows) and P800. I'm saying this after having had a P800 for a while. The PCMCIA adapters are fast and convenient.
