17" 800mhz iMac running 10.2.8 and not running wireless.

Can a cordless 2.4ghz phone do anything in any way to my mac which it sets close to? Have recently purchased this phone and at the same time started having problems connecting (dialup) to the net. Dials a lot longer than usual and then disconnects without connecting. Gives a modem error. Turning modem sound on and there is no handshaking sounds at all. After 2 or three tries, connects as always and all is well. Maybe connect three or so times in a row and then the problems happens again.

Again, nothing wireless at all but the phone.

Thoughts or ideas?

Does the same thing happen if you change the "Channel" on the phone?

I do not know yet. I just did that before posting. We will see what happens.

Thanks for the reply, Rich
