Apologies if this has been asked before...
What email settings should I apply in Entourage to send .Mac email?
I can't seem to send email, but I can receive it.
Thanks for any insight.

You'd think so, wouldn't you.
I just can't figure out the SMTP settings.

smtp.mac.com with authentication. That's for sending mail.
mail.mac.com for receiving.
I got this in two seconds when I went to mac.com and clicked 'help'. It was one of the topics that opened on the window's sidebar.
I just don't think you bothered to look.

What a polite thing to say.
Obviously I didn't look in the right spot, but to suggest I didn't look at all?
Thanks anyway.
Now at the very least it will be in MacNN's searchable files too.

You *may* be able to use the .Mac SMTP server to send mail.
However, often this isn't the case. Very frequently, ISPs block outgoing SMTP traffic. As such, you may not be able to send mail using the .Mac SMTP server. This is not .Mac's fault, it is a common setup by ISPs to combat spam.
You may need to find the SMTP server of the network you're on (e.g. smtp.earthlink.net if you use Earthlink as your ISP).
