maybe it is being a bit petty, but i will point it out anyway just for the record. I suggest you read that Family Pack licence again:
* Family Pack Software License Agreement allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on up to a maximum of five (5) Apple-labeled computers at a time as long as those computers are located in the same household and used by persons who occupy that same household. By "household" we mean a person or persons sharing the same housing unit such as a home, apartment, mobile home or condominium. This license does not extend to students who reside at a separate on-campus location or to business or commercial users.

If you have the family license you have the CDs don't you? There's really no way to recreate the install CDs without the originals.
There was a utility on version tracker that created a bootable cd for osx but that will not give you what you need if I correctly understand what your asking.
Without going into the licensing specifics and not living at home, if you don't have the CDs then, imo, your only option is to purchase panther, perhaps eBay will provide a good deal for you.
Good Luck
Mike

It's a form of joke @ MacNN.
