I just got a 2.0 this last week and out of the box it has had a problem with DVD Player. No matter what DVD I put in, the bottom half of the screen is scrambled. I have called apple care, but no one seems to know what is going on. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this?

Never seen or heard of it...

I would try to use VLC for OS X and see if when using it to view a DVD if the scrambled effect is still here.
