I have all my mp3's on a G4 server which has a dvd-ram drive only. I would like to burn a playlist to an mp3 cd. I have a Tibook on the airport network (but can plug in wired if necessary). Is there a way for me to burn across the network to the superdrive on my powerbook.

I looked at this, but the itunes on the server doesn't see a drive available for burning. I can mount hard drives across the network, but couldn't find a way to mount the cd burner.

Cheers,

J.

You can't do this with the built-in burning features of iTunes, iPhoto and other Apple applications.

If you get Toast however, you can use the Toast Anywhere feature to burn to other burners. This only works for discs burnt in Toast, so you can't burn directly from iTunes to another machine's burner however.
