Help needed in a hurry here. I'm trying to stream the indymedia.org audio coverage from the protests and police actions surrounding the RNC in NYC. I have several mp3 and ogg streams to choose from, but I have not found a player or a stream that will stay "up" or at least reconnect properly when rebuffering occurs. I really need it to stay "up" and connected to prevent dead air (oops- I let it slip that I'm rebroadcasting it) so I can leave it unattended. I was told that I could use a "shell script" to help keep the stream connected. I actually have been in terminal before (that's where you would do this, right?) so I am a bit familiar with it. Could anybody walk me through what is a shell script to keep an audio stream up? And could they do it in the next 24 hours or so?

Thanks-

Val
