I've very recently developed a problem where my DP 867 MDD panics on a wake from sleep. It's only since upgrading to 10.3.5, in which time I haven't added any hardware nor changed my usage habits. I looked through the other threads and didn't see anything recent or which sounded directly on point.

Has anyone else seen this? It's only on wake from sleep, not at any other time, and getting frequent enough that I'm concerned (twice today so far).

To forestall two likely suggestions: I've repaired permissions, to no effect, and my system is configured to make sure the late-night cleanup tasks get run regularly.

The only recent software install is Virex 7.5, which I am now removing, but this wasn't one of the reasons I saw for its withdrawal from .mac

Edit: I see now on Apple's support forums that panics is one problem reported with 7.5, so that may be it.

I've got the same thing afoot on my PowerBook.
It's usually only when I fudge up the lid-opening/waking process, by allowing it to open, then accidentally close again before it fully wakes. Then when I wake it the SECOND time, it's been known to kernel panic.
Again, only since 10.3.5.
