I apologize in advance if this is something obvious that everyone knows... I did a search and didn't see anything... so maybe it's something that other people didn't know either..
When you hit F9 and get the mini-applications, you can hit Tab to cycle through them... and then enter to select the one you want.
Again, sorry if this was an obvious... but I didn't know you could do that!

it is cool. i don't ever use it, since it is slower than moving the mouse to the correct one. i like how it the window does a little bounce.

it is pretty useful if you have 20+ windows open, 10+ apps running, and a 12" screen.

I wasn't aware of that. It's sorta like alt+tab in windows then I guess. I love expose, it makes working on a laptop w/ limited resolution quite nice. However, I usually can use the mouse or track pad faster than I could go for the tab button anyway. And if you're like me you always hit it too fast and then have to go around the cycle again to get to the window you want anyway... lol yeah i'm just an idiot like that. I can't fill out forms w/ tab too fast b/c I do that and it always negates the time saving...

Or... alt-tab is sort of like alt-tab on Windows. Ever tried it? No Expose necessary!

Except that it's Command-TAB (ie, Apple-TAB) on the Mac.

apple + tab cycles to the right
apple + ~ cycles to the left
No need to cycle all the way around

Actually it is
Apple + Tab: cycles to the right
Apple + Shift + Tab: cycles to the left
Apple + ~: Cycles between windows of the same application
Apple + Shift + ~: Cycles backwards between windows of the same app.
Adding shift usually reverses the order of selection (i.e. shift+tab will cycle backwards through fields in a form)
These keys are indeed equivalents of expose, but if you have a lot of windows using expose is easier because you do not need to alt+tab so many times. Although I believe that alt+tab will rearrange the windows such that if you only need to switch between two windows but have a lot open, just one alt+tab will toggle between the correct ones.
I'm a fresh windows switcher and so am very used to the alt+tabbing Most of the time I forget that expose is there but I am learning to utilize it more often now.

Actually if you start cycling with Apple + Tab and over shoot, while still holding the Apple you can press the ~ and it will cycle back to the left. I find this much easier as it requires the same number of fingers to reverse directions if you overshoot.
And you are correct, if you press Apple + ~ initially, it will cycle between the active application's windows.

Apple-` does indeed toggle backward through apps if you have the app-switcher up.

If you press Apple + Tab and then keep only Apple button pressed you can chose one of the apps with the mouse, no worries about overshooting or cycling back ...

And you can also use the arrow keys in the app switcher.

Yep, you guys are right, all of the above work. Quite a lot of options to choose from huh? I will need to see how many of those work in Windows too!
