My ancient iMac is really acting up lately. It's a old G3 and recently I just clean it out n put OS10.2.8 on it. Shuts down fine last night but when I wake up this morning, all it gives me is a folder icon with constant blinking of a mac face icon n the question mark. My os mess up again didn't it? What r the possible thing I can do to get it working again? The only thing I can think of is to start up with my OSX cd. Any other method I shd look out for or try? Pls help!!!!!!

This means there isn't found a start up disk.
I guess you haven't installed OS X right.

Doing a force quit while installing should not be done

I think I'm going to get the problem solve once n for all. Will be able to get my hand on Panther today n just going to sweep clean my mac again. Hopefully this time, everything starts new n clean.
