HI

I currently own a G3 ibook, running OX 10.3. However, it only came with an older version of ilife when i purchased it, as opposed to iLife 04.

I particularly want ilife 04 for the garageband feature. However, I was wondering, because garageband only seems to come on dvd (unless im wrong?!) is there anywcy that i could purchase the software, then transfer garage band to my ibooksomehow, as I dont have a dvd drive, just a normal cd one. I do however have a pc with a cdrw.

Thanks, look forward to hearing from you

You will have to copy the entire contents of the Garageband DVD to the hard drive in a Mac with a DVD drive, then transfer with a ethernet cable (crossover) or to a external hard drive (fire wire disk or a iPod). It worked for me, i did it with my iPod.

Hope it helps.
