Hello

Im having trouyble keeping my mac "on time" I need to do this as I have an AlchemyDVR card and it seems I have to synch with the network time server 'manualy' at least once a week

I have under date and time the box checked for using the time server at Apple ( I live down the street from infinity loop) but it only seems to syncyh if I open the control panel, not from time to time on its own when Im connected to the internet.

is there a way for this control panel to automatically check once a day say when Im connected to the internet doing sometingg else?

thanks rotut

Well, in that case, walk up the street and ask the guys from Apple!

Ha Ha

actually you need vacinations to get into infinity loop.

should there be no errudition here,, next wed Ill go t0 Palo Alto Apple store as they have an unannounced pro day, meening for me the store opens an hour early at 9am, not being a "pro" and NO one is there to ask the 'genius'" questions.

ok, serious now: choose a network server and then close the lock. See if that works. Or try with a new user.

Or try changing the time server to 17.254.0.28. I just got that from pinging time.apple.com. Maybe the IP will stick better; or maybe not.
