Posting this here, because I suspect it is a system issue, not just an IC issue. My Internet Connect icon recently "generic-ized itself. And now it will not start, whether I double-click on it in the finder or try to start it up from the Airport menu bar icon.

I am running 10.3.5 on an Al PB 15, 80gb HD. I have run Disk Utility's repair permissions. Using Pacifist, I have extracted a clean copy of IC and installed it. No luck.

No crashes are showing up in Console, but here is what I could see in the Console logs:
*********
file: /Applications/Internet Connect.app
type is: list, number of items: 1
list item 1:type is: alis, number of items: 0
*********
And when I try to call the app from the Airport menu bar:

*********
2004-09-12 06:10:19.789 SystemUIServer[469] AirPort Menu Extra could not find Internet Connect.
*********

Any thoughts or suggestions? TIA!
