I am running 10.3.5 on an iBook G4. When I try to launch Stickies the icon bounces in the dock a couple of times and just quits. Any help would be great.

normally the first thing i do when an app messes up is trash the preferences file and then try the app again.
you can find the stickies preference file in your home folder / library / preferences / com.apple.Stickies.plist
trash that file, then empty the trash and try open stickies again.

If that doesn't work, try deleting the StickiesDatabase from:
Macintosh HD/Users/User_Name/Library/StickiesDatabase

Hmm, that's odd...you can do a Finder search for "Stickies" and see if it can find it...
You can also try repairing permissions.

Yeah I tried that, both don't work. Is there any way to find out if something got deleted or moved , some little file or extension. I was searching around and found aped files. I installed some things that came with a CD from a magazine. Some of the files had "aped" in the file, I didn't want the software any longer and deleted them after doing a finder search for similiar files.

I think Stickies can be copied from another volume and then pasted in to the Applications folder (replacing your current version). I have seen reports that this has worked before.
If you do not have a source from which to copy Stickies, it may be retrieved from the OS Install CD via Pacifist. http://www.charlessoft.com/

Thank you, I just downloaded Pacifist and it worked great. I must have deleted something. Thanks again for the tip.
