I have a new Powerbook with not a lot of stuff on it yet. And I am playing around with Blogwave Studio. I have a site built that currently is 220k. I have the iDisk shortcut on my desktop and BW Studio very quickly publishes new entries to that. However, the sync from there up to .Mac is agonizingly slow. Takes like 10 minutes after I start sync to complete.

Understand I have a Tier I DSL which means I amd getting about 1.2 meg down and 768 up - so it's not (or shouldn't be) a bandwidth issue.

There appears to be about 17 meg of other stuff in my iDisk (the space free reads 83 mg). When this syncs, is it syncing the entire folder every time? Is there anyway to speed this up - either by just syncing certain, changed files or some other setting change?

There has to be a setting somewhere that I need to click or unclick to speed this up.

iDisk != iSync.

You're talking about iDisk.

I've noticed the same problem. It seems the largest part of that is checking to see what has actually changed. some stuff apparently gets synced up regardless.

I'm never in a rush when I sync my iDisk, but this just to confirm the "problem".
