I'm at a loss here. Everything was working just fine until I installed the latest two Security Updates (running 10.3.5). The Address Book and Mail now crash very easily. Just adding a new phone number to the Address Book causes a crash when I Save. With Mail when I send a new message it crashes.

Any ideas where I can look? Corrupt prefs or something?

Thanks in advance.

Todd

Booted from Panther and running Disk Utility now. I see that someone posted the same/similar issue over on Apple's discussion board for Mail. I ran the verify permissions first and nothing about Mail or the Address Book was listed. I'm fixing them none-the-less and will report back.

Thanks,
Todd

The permissions repair didn't help. Fixed permissions from the OS X CD, reboot, login, run Address Book, edit record, save, watch the app crash. This sucks. I'm going to try starting without the extensions to try and narrow it down. About the only extras I have are Stuffit and Suitcase X1.
