how come when you download a file, it doesn't show up on the desktop? Why when I'm looking at the finder, if I copy a file into a folder through any means other than dragging in the finder, do the files not show up? When I drag something onto the desktop it should go right where I drag it to. Sometimes this happens, sometimes not.
WHY?!!!
Windows does this better than the Mac now. This is one of those things that just made me glad I didn't use windows. Now I've got icons moving all over my desktop for no reason, I've had to turn off the hard drives cause they were moving things all around. Files don't update, folders don't update.
After 3 years, I'm almost done hoping that this will be fixed some day.
