I download the latest shockwave installer and ran it. But when I checked in the Installed Plugins in Safari and in the Internet Plug In folder, Shockwave for Director wasn't updated to version 10, but was still the old version.

So I quit Safari and manually removed the old plugin and ran the updater again.

Problems arose. g4techtv.com wouldn't fully load because It depended on shockwave.
I then ran uninstall and reinstall, but the problem continues. I tried repairing the permissions, but it doesn't help.

HELP!

I'm having the exact same problem (although it's cartoonnetwork.com in our case). We still have Shockwave for Director 8.5.1.

use the installer to remove it, reboot, install, reboot, try it.
if it didn't work, repeat the install.

worked for me!
