Has anyone gotten Intel "Create and Share" webcams to work under Panther? Upon USB connection, Mac OS X recognizes the webcam as:

Digital Color Camera:

Vendor Name: Konica Corporation
Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
Product ID: 1824 ($720)
Bus Power (mA): 500

Image Capture does not recognize the device, and neither does IChat as video source.

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Miguel

This should really be in the Peripherals forum.
iChat requires(?) Firewire cameras (or at least should work with almost all Firewire cameras).

Regarding getting USB cams to work with iChat, many people point to software such as...
http://www.ecamm.com/mac/ichatusbcam/
...which allows many USB cams to work with iChat, don't know if it will work with your camera or not.
