Hey All

I was wondering how to go about doing this??? I've got a New disk for my Pismo and need a fresh setup with 10.3.5. I need to run OS 9 for my VPC 3.0 Win98SE programs.

Thanks!!!

If you are doing a reformat of your HD you could install OS 9 first. Just make sure to update to at least 9.1. Then do an install of Panther. It will install over top of OS 9 and not delete it. If you install Panther first, you will need to restart the system with the OS 9 disk and select the option for a clean install. Just don't reformat your disk at that point

I don't think it matters one way or the other. I've always loaded X first. You should be fine either way.

Hey discotronic

Thanks!!!

Does this setup a Classic mode if I load OS X10.3 first or is there some other things I need to do.

I borrowed a friends external drive that has OS X10.3.5 with Classic loaded, Booted from it an ran Classic Start-up, but nothing seemed to change. Called my friend, but he does run Classic so had no idea if somethings wrong.

Maybe a should ask this in the other forum???

Thanks Again!!!

Brad
