Hi all,
I have a question. I have a Lombard 333 powerbook, with 10.3 installed. For some reason, whenever I open up the help viewer, the computer slows down astronomically. I looked at the activity monitor, and it reported that the help viewer was using more than 50% of the CPU usage. Is this normal, or is there something I can do? Thanks!

Perhaps it is looking for new information on the internet? Monitor your internet activity in process viewer as well. No idea how you could reduce its CPU load though, sorry

You're lucky though, when I open Help 'Viewer' it displays a white page of nothingness.

Mine actually usually does the white page of nothingness also. Sometimes, if I select something from the Library menu, it'll then let me start searching albeit incredibly slowly.

It's okay, I have a 1Ghz PowerBook and HelpViewer slows down my system too. Just a badly made app it seems.
