I tried to open an excel document sent to me by email. The document did not open and excel is spinning without anything happening. When I try and force it to quit in the apple menu (10.2 in French) it doesn't succeed. I have Norton and no virus was detected at the arrival of the mail. Any solutions? I don't want to just unplug the computer! Thanks.

Switch the the finder
Hold down the option key and Click the Excel icon in the Dock
Choose force quit

And then uninstall Norton (Antivirus). It's most likely what is causing the problem with your e-mail attachments.
