Hi all,
I have tried many times to download the new softwares that Apple has released yesterday - iTunes 4.7 and QuickTime 5.5.2. Well, it always tells me that there is not new software.
Any help?
Thanks.

Nothing wrong with your Software Update, they just haven't been added there yet. If you need them now, just go to apple.com and download them separately.

Thanks for the info. No, I do not need them right away. I prefer to wait until they will appear in the software update. Is it a better way to install software rather than downloading directly from apple website?

You'll get an identical install when it appears in Software Update to using a manually downloaded copy. Software Update just uses the Installer engine in the background to do it's magic after it downloads the software.

I have just been able to download iTunes and Quicktime from Software Update. I guess, Apple has just posted them there.

I've noticed that Apple doesn't always go through SU for their upgrades.
