command shift 3 and 4 have stopped working on my machine. I hoped upgrading to 10.3.6 would help, but they still don't work. I have a feeling it is related to the fact that I recently switched my HD by cloning my old drive, and now the desktop is locked and I can't write to it. I run macaroni so my unix maintenance and permissions are fixed regularly. Any ideas?

Have you fixed the permissions on the "Desktop" folder?
