Help please, DVD writer on new powerbook wont work

Please help, I have a one month old 12" powerbook, the built in dvd-writer stopped working for no reason. It keeps ejecting every disc I insert. It was working fine before, and now it will only read the system recovery disc. All the discs that are working before stopped working now.

Any idea how I can fix this problem?

I would take it straight back to the dealer and get it repaired or replaced. I had a similar problem on my Powerbook G4 and Apple eventually had to replace the superdrive for another one.
