At home I have a Mac computer and happy to have the possibility to sync my address book to .mac. However, at work I am working in a Linux environment, but I would still like to be able to use my contact information in my favorite e-mail application. I was hoping it was possible to set up .mac to be a LDAP server so I could use my contacts also when I am not using a Mac, but it seems that I am out of luck on that one.

This should be pretty easy for Apple to set up right? Or is it just that they don't want me to use Linux at all?
