i wanted to move a symlink from one partition to another. so i "command draged" the symlink. now i know that instead of the symlink the linked data will be moved by this. the trouble was just that on the destination partition was not enough space. so i get an warning that my system drive (the destination partition) ist full. by this the move dialog stayed but could not be stopped or anything else.
in short: my data was not moved to the destination partition but was removed from the source!! i thought that it would be a good idea to repair the disk with the disk utility - nothing. the same with norton disk repair. with unerase from norton i got a lot of files but not one of those i "moved away". tech tool isn't any better.

anyone an idea what else i can do?

(system 10.3.4 on a 2x1 GHz G4 MDD)
