Hi Guys,

I am new here and it seems like a great forum. Just bought my first PowerMac and I instantly got a problem in the OS 10.3.6. Whenever I "get info" on a folder the finder gets stuck with the spinning wheel and I have to go to the terminal to kill the process. Has anybody else had this problem? It is obviously very annoying and before I reinstall, I just wanted to check if some one might know what it is.

I reinstalled.

you could have fixed the permissions (go to the disk Utility, select the boot volume, and fix permissions)

that usually solves a lot of theis weird problems...

if you've re-installed then I suppose the problem is gone, correct?

Yeah the problem is gone. Thanks anyway. I have not used mac since os8 so I am learning quite a bit these days
