Just a note for any Sonica Theater users: M-Audio suggests waiting for their updated drivers before upgrading to 10.3.6

Probably different set of rules, but I am using my original Sonica on 10.3.6 without any problems.

No audio level problems? I'd like to upgrade but I want to be certain I'll have no audio issues as my PowerBook doubles as my home entertainment system.

It's working fine here. Using it for movies (DVD Player) and music in iTunes.

jasong, are you on a PowerBook as well? I just want to be sure as the Sonica is my only audio out to my 5.1 speaker setup.

New Sonica drivers are coming. I requested that M-Audio add EAX game support. If they get enough requests this may come in the future. The Revolution 5.1 and 7.1 PCI cards feature EAX support.

Yeah, I am on the last TiBook released, and using it to output 5.1 Surround Sound to my home theater system (I'm sick of DVD players dying after a year). However you said you are using the Sonica Theater, I am using the original Sonica, so I can't say my experience will be yours.

I'm not a gamer, so the EAX support doesn't mean anything to me, but if there is an easy form to fill out, I would be happy to do so as a show of support.

You can go to the M-Audio support page and request EAX support from there. Thanks!
