So I've just installed YDL 4.0 on my old 400mhz G3 Powerbook, and am afraid to say that though it does have a lot of nice features, it seems to have a few kinks. Does YDL have a Java SDK? I need to be able to develop java apps on my Pbook. And how do I install firefox?

Also, all Apple powerbooks have only a single button, and Ctrl-clicking doesn't bring up a contextual menu in gnome. How do I fix that? I'd also like to be able to disable clicking when you hit the track pad, I much prefer pressing the button than tapping the pad because I always end up accidentaly highlighting stuff and clicking buttons I wished I hadn't.

Thanks for any help.

Mouse button emulation should be automatically setup. Try some of the higher F-keys.

Ok, thanks. While waiting for a reply I posted on www.yellowdog-board.com here and fixed several questions of mine, but I still need to figure out how to install XMMS, VLC and/or mplayer.

I think you'll get more help asking at their respective websites. In a nutshell, if they don't provide a PPC Linux binary, you'll have to compile it yourself, or find someone else's custom build.
