How did you install fluxbox? Fink, darwinports, compile and make from source yourself?
Fluxbox needs to be able to find files associated with its configuration and either the files are not in your PATH or ... several possibilities.

Fluxbox is looking for the .fluxbox directory in your HOME directory to find its config files- that is what the line '/Users/littleb/.fluxbox/styles' does not exist is telling you. Depending on how it was installed, you may need another path added to you PATH env so that fluxbox can access them.

Knowing the installation method will make it possible to provide better suggestions.

The fink FAQ and documentation are very comprehensive. You will end up reading both more than once if you are planning to work with X11 and fink. Take a look under .xinitrc in section 4.3 for an answer to your specific question. Your ~/.xinitrc file needs to be edited to both change the parameters for quartz-wm and launch fluxbox.

Another very good resource for help is Soa's Place. There is a definite learning curve for being comfortable with X11 and OS X. All the info you need is in the documentation.
