I am trying to do a finder hack . I swapped over all a simple finders user folders contents into a normal users contents and vice ver sa. But nither one changed. I was trying to see if I can make one user simple finder and the other not.

I am after the one click interface method and know that it must be one single line of code that can be hacked, when I use file merger to compare files finders com pref file has a lot of missing stuff but swapping that or mergeing stuff around does nothing.

So you know where else OSX keeps user data ??

Some user settings are kept in NetInfo. No idea where this particular preference is kept, though.
