I have a Cruzer Mini 128 flash drive. It worked great with both my Powerbook and my windows machine. I had to format it once in XP, and since then, it intermittently works with osx on the Powerbook. I formatted it again in osx, but then I couldn't use it on the XP machine. After reformatting in XP, it worked for several weeks on the PB, but gave me the "You have inserted a disk containing no volumes Mac OSX can read." I'm a student and use the flash drive to help transfer files from the univ win machines to my PB. Unfortunately, I may have ruined it. Any ideas on how to format it for best compatibility between OSX and Win? Thanks.

Format it as FAT32. OS X's native file format, HFS+, can't be read by a default install of Windows XP. XP's native format, NTFS, has no write ability under OS X, only read.
