Hi all,

I have 3 macs, and use one as a server. When I want to pull files off it to my powerbook, I connect to it, but I'm being told that the powerbook can't open an ssh connection. I get the following error message:

Can't make a suecure connection to XYZ server. The server XYZ Server does not support secure connections via SSH. To connect with reduced security, click Continue.

Now, I have SSH turned on on the server, and I can ssh in to it, from the terminal with no problem.

Any ideas why this might be happening.

Cheers,

J.

I don't believe SSH is enabled on normal Appletalk/IP transfers through the Finder. It gives me the exact same message as well.

I think there might be a way to enable SSH using the terminal, but I'm not the person to ask how. Try google.
