My terminal dont show Swedish special keys anymore

After a lots of messing around with the intrenational settings I cant get my swedish keys working. Å Ä and Ö. When I type ÅÄÖ in terminal i get this as reply:

bigfish:~ Johan$ \303\245\303\244\303\266
-bash: åäö: command not found
bigfish:~ Johan$


I realy want to get it working...

I have the latest version of osx, usting an ibook g4 1,2 ghz. i using the eng languagea and with the swedish keyboard!!

Please help!!

Go in "Window Settings" in Terminal and check in the display section if you have Unicode UTF-8 for character encoding.
